Finally Dave and Geoff pulled into the harbor with the boat this afternoon after a 9 month absence! I didn't realizewhats a strain it really was to have them in and out for months with the boat remodeling project and then gone for 6 weeks during the holidays, they missed Thanksgiving and New Years but drove home for Christmas which was nice. Anyway I am feeling so happy and relaxed I must have been more wound up than I thought!! All is well now, they are home safe, healthy and happy albeit a little late, what could be better than that?
Both boys enjoyed their afternoon on the boat watching them unload some crabs. Todd "helped" and put on his special brand new orange gloves that were a gift from Papa and Uncle Huff. He had a personal relationship with all the crabs that he had learned to pick up from the tank and put in the bin, one was the big one and one was the small one and then there was the mean one. He even called to tell me tonight which one was his favorite!! Trust me, they all look alike! Alex had a great time with the deck hose, first walking through it when it was on the deck and and especially when it was over the side! He modeled his pretty orange gloves too. So cute. The big boys finally look relaxed and happy. It was a very long, expensive project but all is well that ends well! Take a peek!
